Become a TIP Volunteer
The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) is currently recruiting volunteers 16 yrs & older to provide emotional support at emergency scenes to victims immediately following a trauma or crisis. The volunteers also provide practical assistance and explain the procedures of various agencies. So if you're a Clark County resident with compassion and a desire to help others, register today!! Emotional First Aid (EFA) Course
Training Schedule This course will teach you the five Emotional First Aid skills of reaching out, protecting, reassuring, organizing and reinforcing. It is taught with the help of rescue personnel and mental health professionals. Becoming a volunteer requires the 36 hours of training, a three-month field-training program, plus mandatory 3-hour continued education classes once per month.
