Trauma intervention volunteers sought   People with cool heads and warm hearts are needed as volunteers for the Trauma Intervention Program, crisis team manager Marian Thomas said. The program has about 30 volunteers who are trained to provide emotional support to victims of a trauma. The group works closely with police, fire and hospital officials. Thomas said she hopes to recruit another 30 volunteers willing to take the 50-hour training class, which starts Thursday.
